Dog Safety Academy

A Message from Hovhannes

Hello, dog friends! Kindness means paying attention to what an animal is telling us. We ask the owner first and never bother a dog that is eating, sleeping, frightened, or caring for puppies.

Be Safe. Be Smart. Be Kind.

Today's Learning Goals

What Will You Learn?

Ask First

Get permission from both the adult and the owner.

Read Body Language

A stiff body, growl, or tucked tail means give space.

Stand Calmly

Do not run from or chase an unfamiliar dog.

Be Gentle

Use quiet voices and respectful touch.
