- Never touch cords, plugs, switches, or outlets with wet hands.
- Stay away from damaged cords, exposed wires, and fallen power lines.
- Keep electrical devices away from water.
- Tell an adult immediately if you see sparks, smoke, or damaged wiring.
- Always let qualified electricians perform electrical work.
